Majulah Connection is pleased to invite you to a lunch talk cum networking session with Majulah Connection's trustees. This talk by Mr Tan Kee Hian, a global expert on business consulting, is on: "Making Strategic Innovation work for Asian Economies, Businesses and People".

From his personal hands-on interactions with Asian leaders, managers and workers, he has gained leading insights into the significant challenges involved in creating strategic innovations, such as the end-state-driven thinking process, inside-out perspectives, dependence on numbers and statistics, and “delegate/outsource” syndrome. The speaker will describe the why these challenges need to be addressed and how.

Seats are limited so registration will be on a first-come-first-serve basis. To register your participation, please email yingmay@majulahconnection.com and send cheque payment by 3 April 2008.
Can I Navigate the Financial Futures Markets? Sure, All You Need is a Compass and a Map...
Most people that enter Financial markets first taste the benefits beginning with Equities; they become "collectors", buying and holding stocks for the long term. The next stage of growth typically is to become a "Trader", when stock is bought, held, and sold in much shorter order. Very few of us though venture into the "Futures" markets, as we all fear the risk of the unknown, the fear of what the Future may hold.

Peter Yim started life like many of us: he held down a steady job, and dabbled in Equities. However, there came a point in his life when all that changed, and today, he runs a very sophisticated high-tech business operation focused firmly on the Financial Futures Markets.

What changed? What does he do? And how does he go about doing it? These are all aspects that he will cover. Moreover, the lessons that he learned and other practical titbits of advice will be on offer when Peter presents.
