An inaugural lunch was held on June 3 and hosted by Mr. Ngiam Tong Dow, Chairman of HDB Corporation and a board member and Trustee of Majulah Connection. As a consequence of the meeting, the MC China Caucus would visit Tianjin at the special invitation of the Tianjin Government. The objective is to assess business opportunities from the multi-billion dollar future development for Tianjin. The mission would be facilitated by Mr. Patrick Choy, a member of the standing committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC). It was planned for October 2003 and would be led by Mr. Ngiam Tong Dow.
