Selected leaders of MNCs, government ministries and associations were invited to an afternoon tea session with Julia Ross, Founder and Executive Deputy Chairman, of Ross Human Directions Limited at Sheraton Towers on 16 April 2007.

 

Over afternoon tea, Julia, Australia’s richest self-made woman, shared with top executives and members of Majulah Connection in Singapore, her personal story of growing and managing a AUD$400 million global HR services company; the ROSS journey of Asia expansion; and the role of Singapore in capitalising on the region's growth and expansion of ROSS's footprint in Asia. Julia provided her viewpoint on issues of leadership, talent development, cultural diversity and workforce management during the Question and Answer session.

 

Invested guests included Mr Chan Soo Sen, MP for Joo Chiat, Mr Seah Kian Peng, MP for Marine Parade GRC and Ms Cheryl Stanilewicz, Trade Commissioner of Austrade.
